Laura Alexander's work is driven by wonder. She works in mixed media combining science and art to play up the intrinsic qualities of her materials. She works predominantly in etched glass and hand cut paper. Laura recieved her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her MFA from the University of Washington. She is a board member of the Franklinton Arts District and serves on the Ohio Art League's programming committee.
